M:I am your co-host McKenna Reitz

G: and I am Greg Reitz. We are excited to explore the opportunities that exist to realize your potential. From an up and coming coach to a future CEO to a seasoned veteran in your field there is always growth available to you when you challenge yourself and step outside your comfort zone.

M: With almost 40 years of coaching and leadership experience between us, leadership has become a staple of our character and have learned that no matter where you are on your journey, we should never stop learning and growing from one another.

Greg: I graduated from Long Beach State where I concluded my collegiate career on the men’s volleyball team. Went on to obtain a master’s degree in Exercise science with an emphasis in biomechanics from the University of Toledo. It was here that I began my collegiate coaching career over 20 years ago. I was hired to start   the volleyball program at Lourdes University and am currently in my 12th year as the head coach of both the men’s and women’s teams.  During this time we have earned conference championships, national tournaments bids, and many players have earned all-conference, all-american and all-academic accolades. The primary focus of the program has always been to become a better person, inside and out.

McKenna: I graduated from Hope College in Holland, MI with a degree in secondary education while competing on the volleyball team where I was an All-Conference setter. I then went on to obtain my Master’s Degree in Education Technology from the University of Toledo. I am currently in my 16th year of teaching Advanced Placement Psychology and coaching varsity volleyball at Springfield High School in Toledo, Ohio. My program is based on three core values: Heart. Character and Community. I do not coach for wins and losses rather to empower young female athletes to gain confidence, build character, and be positive, upstanding members of society so they leave my program as strong females ready to take on the world.

G: We look to glean knowledge from our guests as we discuss their leadership journey. Individuals with resumes that include CEOs of major corporations, olympic and professional athletes, entrepreneurs, and collegiate coaches are just a few of the people that will join us.

M: We are excited for this opportunity to grow as we are exposed to these new perspectives on leadership. And we invite you to challenge yourself along with us.
